Morocco Discovery 13 days

Day 1:  Casablanca – Rabat

Morocco Discovery tour will take you around Moroccan culture, Open arrival, our guide will meet you at the airport and drive to Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque, the only mosque that you can visit in our country, continue to Rabat the capital.
Here, you will see the Hassan Tower, the Oudaya Kasbah.

You have 2 nights as you planned for in the same Hotel or Riad. ( Local Guide will take you for Rabat Visit )

April 2:  Rabat – Meknes – Fes:

Around 9 am your authentic journey will start towards Meknes city the 17th- century heritage where we will stop for lunch and hang around the historical huge walls of the medina, Bab El Mansour and enjoy a visit to Moulay Ismail s shrine. Then to Volubilis take a short visit to the Roman ruins and the archeological site, after the visit of the ruins we will drive directly to Fes city. Morocco Discovery

April 4:  Fes – Historical Tour :

With a local guide in Fes, you will dedicate the day to discover the oldest, intellectual medina in morocco. you will start with the royal palace, the Jewish quarter, the uphill view from the south Bourj, the ceramic-pottery-store-and-factory.and after all these places you will go for a walk inside the medina to discover the very different life of it and the cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University – the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine market, and Mulay Idriss mausoleum.

After lunch, you’ll visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. In the afternoon, free time. (In Fez it will be a flexible Visit if you get tarried you back to your Hotel)

Day 5:  Fes –  Ifran – Azro – Middle Atlas – Midelt :

Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation at 08:00 then you leaven Fez towards Todra Gorges, passing through Ifrane known as Switzerland of Morocco, built by the French in the 1930s with Swiss village style, we continue crossing the middle atlas and cedar forest near Azrou, we stop near Azrou to see the Barbary apes. Afterward, you continue through many Berber villages to arrive at Midelt where you will stop for the night. A short walk in the town of Midelt

Day 6:  Midelt  – Ziz Valley–  Erfoud – Merzouga

Traveling through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, you’ll see views of the Middle-Atlas plateau, noticing how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city Errachidia. After lunch, you will continue your journey through the Ziz valley Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga.

After a glass of mint tea, you will charge your luggage in a 4×4 and cross the Sand-dunes than to the Berber camp in the middle of Erg Chebbi Golden Sand Dunes. It is also reputed as the highest dunes in North Africa. Sunset from the Luxury Nomadic camp (Toilets & showers inside the tents)

Day 7:  Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Boumalen Dades

Breakfast will be at the Camp, After sunrise, you take 4×4 to the Minivan less than 30mn drive. Later,  you’ll leave for Tinghir and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco, Lunch and drive to Boumalen Dades

Day 8:   Boumalne  Dades– Valley Of The Roses – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou

After breakfast, we’ll drive through the Dades Boumalne, Rose Valley, and  Kalaat Mgouna towards Ouarzazate. The route through the Roses valley, the way of the thousand Kasbahs, provides numerous photo opportunities. Arrive in Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”. And stop for the famous photo of the Taourirt Kasbah, then drive to Ait Benhaddou an amazing area to stay for the night.

Day 9:  Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech – Imlil:

After breakfast we’ll start to drive to Ait Benhaddou to visit the Kasbah / Ksar of Ait Benhaddou with a local guide, Ksar Aït Benhaddou is a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, your journey will continue through the majestic Tizi nTichka pass, reaching an altitude of 2260m, over the High Atlas Mountains. We will stop to enjoy the impressive views and visit the argan oil cooperative. Continue to Imlil Valley.

Day 10:  Imlil – Short Walk – Marrakech:

After breakfast, we will show you different options, and you can choose which one do you like more, anyway, there is no a hike for you today, we are going to drive to a high mountain and enjoy a very short walk to stretch your legs. Then lunch will be a picnic lunch in the Mountains. Drive back to Marrakech at the end of the Afternoon.

Day 12:  Marrakech – Cultural tour
